Tips for Success

Writing Good Questions

Effective questions:

  • "What emails mention the settlement agreement?"
  • "Who are the parties to the operating agreement?"
  • "What financial transactions occurred in August 2024?"
  • "Summarize the key terms of the contract"

Less effective questions:

  • "Tell me about this case" (too broad)
  • "Is this case good?" (AI can't make legal judgments)

Understanding Citations

Every AI response includes source citations. These show:

  • Which documents support the answer
  • The specific text from each document
  • Confidence level of the information

Always verify AI answers against the original source documents.

Processing Large Collections

For large document sets:

  • Processing may take several minutes
  • You can navigate away - processing continues in background
  • Return to check progress anytime
  • Failed files can be retried
